About My Practice

Christiane Previlma, PMHNP-BC, APRN, RBT

I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing thoughtful, integrative care for adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, and chronic stress, including caregivers supporting loved ones with chronic illness or dementia. My approach combines evidence-based medication management, psychotherapy, and whole-person mental health strategies to address the root contributors to emotional distress, rather than focusing solely on symptoms.

I believe that sustainable mental wellness comes from understanding the interconnected factors that affect your life, including stress physiology, trauma, grief, lifestyle patterns, and personal values. My care emphasizes collaboration, education, and skill-building, so that you leave each visit feeling understood, empowered, and equipped with practical tools for your daily life.

In addition to psychiatric care, I bring extensive nursing experience working with individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and their caregivers. This background informs my approach to supporting caregivers, helping them manage stress, implement effective behavioral strategies, and access community resources. My goal is to help both patients and their families navigate mental health challenges with confidence and resilience.

I provide integrative psychiatric services with a focus on:

  • Psychiatric evaluation & individualized treatment planning

  • Psychotherapy including CBT, DBT-informed, and trauma-informed approaches

  • Nervous system regulation, stress management, and lifestyle-based strategies

  • Caregiver support, education, and resource navigation

  • Collaborative, patient-centered medication management when appropriate
